No one has a crystal ball – none of us like to think about getting sick, but it is very much a reality for us and those around us.
Did you know there are individual plans out there that can cover you and/or your family for health and dental expenses? Whether you’re losing group coverage or have never had it, protecting your family from large health and dental expenses can be a necessary investment. At Orr Insurance & Investment we will help to find the right insurance to protect you and/or your family from these expenses.
In the individual health/dental plan market there are set plans with set coverages. Depending on your needs, you will be able to choose from a few different plans that cover certain benefits with different maximums. Some plans will require health questions and some will not. Single – if you have no eligible dependents you can apply for a single health & dental plan.
Family – if you have one or more eligible dependents, you can apply to cover them under the plan as well. Eligible spouse needs to be a common-law spouse or married, and eligible children are up to age 21.
The price of the plan will depend on two things: which plan you choose and your age(s). The available plans go from the least amount of coverage (maximums, what is covered, etc.) to the highest offering. The price for each will depend on which age band you and/or your family members fall into. Feel free to contact us and we can send you a quote. All we need are the ages of whoever you are covering:
