The Orr tradition of community involvement began in the early 1900s with R. Thomas Orr’s work in the city of Stratford, and continues today with Rick, Jeff and their families. Their dedication and commitment to this community can be seen throughout the region, including Stratford’s signature parklands around Lake Victoria, the Shakespearean Gardens, the Stratford Public Library, the Stratford Festival of Canada, the Stratford General Hospital expansion, and the Stratford Rotary Complex. Orr employees also contribute a great amount of volunteer hours in their communities completed on their own time as well as offered through work time.
